15-minute recipe: Grilled pumpkin with Parma ham and blue cheese

12th April 2020 – (Hong Kong) More and more people are staying at home in Hong Kong to cook nowadays as new government directions have been implemented to practice social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus. We have come up with a 15-minute easy-to-cook recipe series for our readers to try at home. This is probably the best time now to stay healthy and brush up your cooking skills!

Recipe of the day:

Grilled pumpkin with Parma ham and blue cheese

Cut pumpkins into slices, keep the skins and grill them over a grill pan for around 5-7 minutes on each side until they are slightly burned. Arrange them carefully on a serving dish before shredding some Parma ham and pieces of blue cheese over the sliced pumpkins. Toast some pumpkin seeds for around 30 seconds and sprinkle them on top. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar on top and season with black pepper. This amazingly simple dish is healthy and delicious.

Ingredients:

Pumpkin, pumpkin seeds, blue cheese, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and black pepper.
