123 new COVID-19 cases reported today, sources, latest residential buildings occupied by new patients include The Cullinan in Kowloon

Shun Lee Disciplined Services Quarters

31st July 2020 – (Hong Kong) The third wave of COVID-19 in Hong Kong is severe. Over the past 9 days, more than 100 local confirmed cases have been added in a single day. According to sources, about 123 new confirmed cases were added today (31st), and the total number of cases in Hong Kong has been 3152 so far.

As of yesterday, there were 18 new confirmed cases in Kwun Tong District. Among them, 3 patients reported living in Block 5 of Shun Lee Disciplined Services Quarters. They are a 13-year-old female patient (Case No. 3016) and a 31-year-old female patient (Case No. 3017) and a 16-year-old male patient (Case No. 3150). Earlier, there was also a confirmed firefighter living in Block 5 of Shun Lee Disciplined Services Quarters (Case No. 2496). He was a member of the Tsing Yi South Fire Station. There was another connected patient, a 49-year-old woman with Case No. 2494. She went with Patient No. 3016 to Mee… Lemongrass restaurant at East Point City.

Meanwhile, a 51-year-old male patient (Case No. 3117) and another patient are from Disciplined Services Quarters for firemen at Lok Kwai House, Kwai Fu Court. There were also 16 new confirmed cases including Grand Waterfront in To Kwa Wan where the patient was a 51-year-old man (Case No. 3119), Whampoa Garden also added a new patient who is a 56-year-old man (Case No. 3025), he lives in Block 2, Phase 9 of All Fit Garden, which is a case with unknown source. In addition, 4 people reported living in Ta Lung House, To Kwa Wan including a 3-year-old girl (Case No. 3007), a 63-year-old female patient (Case No. 3010), a 64-year-old male patient (Case No. 3011) and a 10-year-old boy (Case No. 3012).

A 65-year-old male patient lives in Block 7 of the Bellagio in Sham Tseng (Case No. 3005). He became ill on 10th July and is a case with unknown source. A 36-year-old male patient (Case No. 3057) lives at The Cullinan above MTR Kowloon Station. He is asymptomatic and the source of infection is unknown. There is also an additional 31-year-old male patient (Case No. 3102) who lives at Metro Harbour View in Tai Kok Tsui. A new patient from the Tuen Mun Fulham Restaurant cluster is a 60-year-old man (Case No. 3013) who lives in  MORNING LIGHT BUILDING in Kwun Tong and became ill on 15th July.

In addition, one of the confirmed cases in the Sheung Shui Slaughterhouse cluster is a 39-year-old male patient (Case No. 3149) living in Lai Ming House, Wah Ming Estate, Fanling. One more patient was diagnosed in Block 8 of Oscar by the Sea, Clear Water Bay. He is a 33-year-old male patient (Case No. 3131), belonging to the Kin Shing (Leung’sGeneral Contractors Limited cluster. Previously, a 3-year-old boy (Case No. 2478) lives in Block 8 of Oscar by the Sea. He was also a patient related to the Kin Shing (Leung’sGeneral Contractors Limited cluster.
